Patton
With her little girl pixie look, prodigious talent,
infectious energy and savvy business acumen, Monica
Patton, actress, singer and dancer has become one of the
most recognizable faces on Broadway. Her artistic streak
runs deep throughout the Broadway family tree, having
been compares to luminaries such as Eartha Kitt and
Stephanie Mills; Monica L. Patton is a remarkable
performer on every level.
A classically trained soprano with an astounding belt,
she has the ability to sing many styles, making them her
own and taking them beyond expectation.
Monica has made her own mark on the Broadway and
National Tour Stages working with such notables as
Diahann Carroll, Eartha Kitt, Freda Payne, and Kathy Lee
Gifford and she was also offered the opportunity to sing
opposite Jon Secada as the Narrator in the National tour
of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Broadway: Leah, "Abby's Song"; Sarah (us), performed
the role countless times, RAGTIME; Off Broadway: Tiny
Lee, "Little Ham". National Tours: "Star To Be" in the
30th Anniversary National Tour of "ANNIE"; Regional:
Charlaine, "Ain't Misbehavin"; Ella, "Bubblin' Brown
Sugar"; BJ, in "Smokey Joes Cafe" and Gabrielle
Chocolate in "Can Can".
In addition to her theater work, she maintains an active
career as a concert artist; having recently completed a
tour of Korea and Japan as a featured vocalist with the
New York Harlem Singers.
Being no stranger to recording, she released a Dance
Single called 'Party People in the House" and appeared
as a guest vocalist on "Irving Burgie's, The Father of
Modern Calypso." |
